So I have been messing with this thing quite a bit, fixed the air hole so it flowed properly and made a working 1.8ohm wick to use on my provari. I am wondering what the best setup is to run on this thing, U-Wick, Dual Wick Dual Doils, Or just a single coil and wick. It's pretty difficult to not get that top coil burn so I'm not really looking forward to another setup but if there is a better way to do things I'd love to know.

Also trying to figure out if I can get it to wick without air lock while leaving the fill screw in place. I'd like to have the ability to not have it upright constantly.

Any input is appreciated.

For the Provari, just keep on keeping on. You don't want to make a dual wick/dual coil kind of setup since your new to all of this. I always loved my Cobra, it was the best functioning genesis I've ever used and I miss it. I never did anything but a single wick and super low ohm coil on it, but since you're running it on a Provari you don't want a super low ohm coil, anywhere from 1.3-1.7ish is good for you.

If you have a provari v2....then I would definitely get some 30g wire and experiment with that. It is much easier to set up a 30g coil vs the 32g...also the builds are much more stable and last longer. Since you are already doing 7 wraps of coil you should have no problem with the 30g wire.

Try to always leave the fill screw in....since it will make your device very pocket friendly. I take my cobra everywhere with me and I always lay it on its side. It has never leaked a drop.

I love my Cobra 3mil... i was disheartened with it when i had my Provari and no mechanical that would handle low Ohms... it sat on the shelf...
I admire guys like Rule, who are good at making coils for VV or regulated mods... but sub 1.0 Ohms is where mine shines now, on a Polidiac: 28g 4/3 wrap, .9 or .8 Ohms... fill hole in, air hole at 1mm is no issue when vapor is bursting out to beat the band. :)
