So last night I got 2 new atomizers. The "together best cooperation" oddy thing and a Cobra rba.

The tbc works fine as a dripper...

But when I tried to rebuild the cobra its been acting very weird. It came with a very skinny wire and I wanted to try a 28 gauge on it. the thing has been giving me odd readings the whole time. It'll report resistance when the coil isnt connected, it'll report proper resistance then not fire when I press the button, just weirdness. There is indeed juice in it right now which I will remove if I have to. I cannot figure out what Im doing wrong and what I need to do to get it vaping again. Please help!

Thank you all.

Also make sure you check ohm's before your wick is installed. A improperly oxidized wick can change your resistance, as well as make the resistance bounce around a ton as well as give a terrible taste/performance.

The proper steps for setting up a genny atty would be oxidize your wick, build your coil, test the ohm's of the coil installed, insert wick, retest ohm's to make sure it hasnt touched, test fire to make sure there are no hot spots. everything should glow evenly(its okay if the bottom and top arent as bright as the center), during the test fire you kind of want to do pulse burst by pressing the button for 1-2 seconds and make sure there are no lightning bolt like marks appearing on the wick. once that is done fill with juice and enjoy.
