I bought some pure coffee extract, and it says on the label that it has no oil or sugar, but when I use it there is a residue that looks like, well, coffee - kind of like tiny little slivered pieces of coffee grounds that clings to the sides of the bottle when I mix it.

Actually, it reminds me of pulp in orange juice, only coffee colored and much smaller.

Is this ok to use?

Hoping for a yes because it smells soooooo yummy!:D

You could run it through a filter (couple layers of tea bag) to get the dregs out, those may not be good for the atomizer. That wouldn't hurt the flavor at all I wouldn't think. But it may just be that the extract is not soluable in your juice. If filtering doesn't take out the dregs I would not use it. You could try to dissolve it in a couple milliliters of grain alcohol, such as Vodka or Ever Clear, if it dissolves in that you should be able to add the solution to your juice, but doesn't sound hopeful. Also the alcohol may take away the flavor a bit.
