Coil Build Help - Lower ohm

I know someone can explain this to me quickly. I've been searching through the threads and not finding a solution.

I'm building coils for my mini protank 2's and I'm at about 2.5 ohm.

My question is what physically about the build causes the ohm to increase or decrease? If I want to get down to 1.8 what do I need to do?

I'm using 32g Kanthal and a 5/6 wrap per one of the rebuild threads I found on here. I'm wrapping around a 5/64 drill bit.

Just make it smaller- either take a wrap off or make a smaller ID

I have found the easiest way to adjust the ohm is to use a different gauge wire. 32 gauge will give you higher ohms. 30 gauge will be in the upper middle range. 28 gauge for the lower middle range, and 26 for the low range.
