Hey all,
I've been vaping about two weeks and I need some help with coil questions. (Namely Kanger bdc)
1- how long on average should a coil last for a moderate vaper
2- how often should I clean coils
3- what does a slight burnt taste mean, and what causes it
4- whats the lowest I should let my tank run before refilling it
Please help, I don't want to have to throw out coils that may still be useable

Hi I will do my best to answer your questions , 1) in my expirence pre made coils do not last very long. 2 weeks maybe more but coils wound yourself last 2 months or more. (This is strictly speaking from my own experiences ). 2) you should clean your coils when you notice the quality of your vape degrading. 3) burnt taste means the coil has burned. Over heating , too high of wattage can cause this once they are burned they are usually done for.. 4) never let your tank get lower than the coils level. The coil should be kept moist with juice. Letting the tank run down to low will burn your coil, thus giving the burnt taste. Hope this helps. Hope I answered your questions. Best wishes.

Hey mate, both realsis and bunnykiller are steering you right, though with #3 I'd add it can also mean your wattage is too high for the wicking in the coil to keep up, so it dries out and you make the yuck face. If you're mostly getting it at the end of a hit, lower your voltage or use a thinner eliquid.
