Coil Choice - What's good for what??

Hey all, quick question regarding coil choice...which coils are good for what exactly?? is this just personal preference or do all these different styles actually serve a purpose??
I was about to order some more and treat all my tops to a long overdue service but.... alien? Tiger? Twisted? Clapton? Tidal??.....I'm lost....

Each will have pros and cons.
More wire takes more power to heat (complex coils will drain batteries quicker), use more liquid and gunk up faster.

I prefer simple SS single wire as it's simple, gives decent performance and seems to last longer between rewicks and rebuilds.

Personal preference.
Each to their own.

Complex high mass coils are good if you want a warmer vape without blowing through eliquid.
