Ive been making coils on my kayfun and taifun for a few months now. It was the best decision ive made to date. However, since I started for some reason ive always grabbed the 5/64th bit and wrapped 11 wraps of 28guage. My coils always came out to roughly 1.65 ohms and performed great. For some reason or another ive always been afraid to mess with what I know works. Today, I decided to grab the 3/32 drill bit and do 10ish wraps of 28guage. This build came out to around 1.75ohms. So far ive got it installed and making vape like a freight train with no issues. I dont think I see much difference in the taste or wicking thus far. What are the limitations of the kayfun as far as coil diameter? Is it limited to what you can stuff in the chimney? Is there any inherent risks or no nos when it comes to playing around with diameter? Just curious and looking for discussion.
