coil failing/shorting

So I lost the third post screw for my reomizer 4. I found a screw that would fit it and screwed it in the empty post while still using my single coil. My coils started to fail and wouldn't fire so I removed the screw and now it's fine. Is this because of the make shift screw I'm using or is there not suppose to be anything in the empty post on a single coil? Just wondering before I attempt my first dual tonight.

Actually it seems to not be firing off and on now. Does this mean something is wrong with my build?

A screw in an empty post shouldn't make any odds, maybe the other screws just need a tighten or you have a bigger problem?

Could be your build or your 510 conection or battery connection. Start by checking ohms on your meter and progerss down the line fom there.
