To reiterate what everyone else said, first find a new shop! Then either buy coils or make your own.
You don't have to spend a lot to get started. I've been making simple 1.2ish ohm coils for years with only some kanthal and a drill bit. Oh and a screwdriver and some tweezers and nail clippers. All stuff I had laying around anyway except the kanthal. Wire for coils is crazy cheap. I've only just ordered a coil jig and it hasn't even arrived yet so I'm assuming it will make things a little easier, but it's easy enough with a drill bit.
Anyway, it is really easy. And once you make one it lasts a good long time, so it's not like you have to devote your life to coil building.
