Coil Life?

I just started using the rba deck on my subtank mini for the first time the other day. It came with a coil already mounted and I've been using that.Today I changed flavors and successfully re-wicked it. So at what point will I have to replace the coil?

Yep, been using same coils for 2 months now. If your happy with the performance, then dry burn and rewick.

Or when it gets so brittle it breaks when your rewicking it.

Thanks for the replies! Coil measures out at 0.6 Ohm and is working good so far. Thought I'd have to try building a new coil sooner, but use it till it breaks works too

The thicker the wire the longer it will last.

You will have plenty of time to practice and perfect your coil building skills before a new coil is needed. I have never broke or burned up a coil. I do change them out when I get bored or want to change the numbers. I was surprised at how a couple of tenths change can have a noticeable effect on flavor and cloud production.

Afraid I might not have skills.. Still using coil that came installed on ST Mini RBA deck. LOL I'll do it eventually

Eventually you will be forced to do it..You will ruin the coil, doing the normal rewicking, long before the coil fails by itself.

I change my coil in the Lemo about every two weeks just out of sheer boredom. I actually have no idea how long the actual coil will last. Besides, it's fun to try new builds and figure out what you like. I guess it's all part of the hobby aspect of vaping.

Hobby is having multiple dewvises with multiple builds.. Trying different builds every few days is about getting a vape that satisfies. The Hobbiest builds a coil because they have an idea, a spool of wire and some time. I build coils because I want a good tasting Vape and mangled the last coil taking the cotton out of it..
