I've searched this site trying to find a post that explains ohms...different ohms...like 1.5, 1.8, 2.0 etc... I've been using coils that were 1.5, 1.8. Then today I bought a Kanger t3S and the ohm in it is 2.0. What's the difference? what do ohms do? Which ohms are better? If I purchase replacements which ohms do I want? HELP!!

Generally, more power gives more vapor and more flavor. In your T3, more power will give you more vapor/flavor until it tastes burnt (the wick can't feed liquid fast enough).

If you are using a variable voltage (spinner, twist, mvp, vamo, etc.) or variable wattage (mvp, vamo, etc) device then the resistance doesn't matter much. Just adjust your voltage/wattage to whatever you like and ignore the resistance.

If you have a battery that can't adjust it's voltage output, then the resistance (ohms) matters.

Ohm's law says:
Watts (power) = Volts^2 / Ohms (resistance)

Just thinking about that equation without any numbers, if you want more Watts (power), you can increase your voltage *or* decrease your resistance (ohms). So if your device can't change the voltage, you can increase your power by lowering your resistance (ohms).

I find that 1.8-2.2 ohms works good in a clearomizer (like your T3). It gives good vapor and flavor, but doesn't burn the juice.

Baditude has some excellent information in his blog: E-Cigarette Forum - Baditude - Blogs
Start with (14) if you want way more information about what I discussed here.

I like variable voltage/wattage devices because it's easier to change the power by twisting a knob or pressing a button rather than opening your tank and changing a head. Don't think you need to go buy more stuff if you're happy with what your using. That said, ECF is not a good support group for people who want to avoid buying new stuff.
