I have some 1.5 ohmn,1.8,2.2. I just purchased a Protank Mini2, it came with a 2.5. The 2.2's are real short and the tubes have a small diameter hole, smaller than the 1.5 and 1.8's but the 2.5 is the same as the rest. I am confused if I was to rebuild these, does the length and diameter of the tube have anything to due with resistance ?

Are you sure that the coils you have are all for the Kanger ProTank? If they are different sizes, it sounds to me like you have coils for two different types of tanks (some are compatible with other tanks, but not all of them). By the way, generally the mini ProTanks come with two coils--one 1.8ohm, and one 2.4. The nice things about the ProTank coils is that the resistance is actually marked (in really tiny print) just above the threads.

The Protank did indeed come with two, 2.5 and 1.8. I mostly use 1.8 in both the Evod and the Protank. However, today I was comparing the two in the Evod with butterscotch flavor 18nic 50/50 mix and I think I like the 2.5 the best. As far as the different sizes , I know the 1.8,1.5 came in Kanger boxes some of the other came with the Evods and the short stubby 2.2's came individually wrapped from the local B&M store, well all has came from B&M store

one thing that may be worth noting is there are a lot of aftermarket or "counterfeit" replacement atomiser heads out there. B&M stores seem to be the biggest culprit of this because they buy huuuge lots of these types of items from china and what you get can vary drastically.
there are online retailers who are well known ECF "endorsed" retailers that carry genuine Kanger heads for cheap and depending on how many you grab in one shipment, may be cheaper than buying them locally.
