No, it cannot handle 0.08ohms, it has a max discharge of 30A and a coil of that resistance pulls 52.5A.
The 0.3ohms is fine, drawing 14A at 4.2V.

As for your mate's 0.03 coil, that is pulling 140A, so is well beyond any battery I have ever seen or heard of. What the hell is he using?

It sounds like you need to download an ohms law app, vaper's toolbox is free on android, must be something on IOS too.

Sounds good guys. What would I do without this forum... Probably look like a jackass!

So these super crazy builds I see, 0.02 and 0.03 are the same as 0.3? My mvp will read my 0.4 builds, but his patriot came in at 0.0. The thing ripped, though, but who knows what he vaping at... I'll let you guys know if he turns the mod I gave him into a pipe bomb -. -

Than I was misunderstood. Why the hell was he using a VTC5? And what would be recommended batteries?

There are no recommended batteries for anything >.0 at that point you are reaching almost a complete short. Please, please I implore you if you are going to sub ohm stay above .3 and only once you gain more knowledge about ohm's law, batteries, and battery safety. We want everyone to be as safe as possible and no accidents to happen.

Ps. I'm sure baditude will be here soon enough to help you learn all you need to know ;)

Does anyone in this picture actually have a meter capable of accurately taking a resistance measurement in the .03 ohm range?
I have a Fluke DMM that will measure resistances with 2-decimal place precision, which will read .03Ω with no problems

Or does someone not know how to set and read their meter maybe?
You never can tell :)

The fact that a multimeter reads to 2 decimal places is not indicative of the actual accuracy of that measurement. It's worth reading through the manual to determine the accuracy specifications of the meter when close to it's display limits.

And although I don't want to start an argument, I can't help but wonder at the overall knowledge of "limits" of the OP if there is demonstrated lack of knowledge of a pretty basic concept as significant figures. Perhaps it's just a question of having the DMM in the right scale? I know that many people miss the small K in the corner of the screen...
