Hi
I've been using prebuilt coils for a few years and just got a subohm innovations rDa and some premade coils - 0.4 ohm Clapton coils.
I've put a two coils into the subohm RDA and they're both heating up fine from the centre out, with no hot spots
However I put the RDA on my ohm meter and was surprised that it read 0.4 ohms- I thought with dual coils I should be getting a 0.2 ohm reading?

So I'm not sure what I've done wrong?
I assume the connections to the posts are good as both coils are heating up.

Any advice greatly appreciated!
Thanks all

It's possible the vendor assumes you will use them in a dual configuration, and states the final combined resistance for convenience.
If they are selling them in pairs or sets they might..as a specific build... but they wshould still be sold or listed by individual rating....

Still safety requires you know what you have BEFORE you install or use it.
