Ive been vaping my AGA-T+ for about a week on this coil/wick setup. Its been working ok at best compared to previous ones. Does not wick great and will burn if chain vaped even a little bit. I took the cap off and fired and realized the top leg of the coil connecting to the positive post was a pretty bad hot spot. I fiddled with it a little and it went away for a second then my wick burned dry and it shorted out. Now im getting a short circuit error every time i fire and it is reading a short when I check the resistance with the device. should i ditch it and start over or can i save it?

Can you pull the wick out without disturbing the coil? If so, remove the wick, and oxidize it again. Do a couple juice burns on the wick. Then, before re inserting the wick, make sure the coil fires, at low voltage, if you have a variable voltage device. After re oxidizing the wick, and testing the coil, re insert the wick. Check for hot spots again. If everything checks out good, refill, wet fire the wick/coil a couple times, and then vape away.
