Coilmaster 521 tab mini

Hey guys I just bought the coil master v3 diy kit and it came with the 521 tab mini. I am having issues with it only with some tank bases. If I put my smok tank base on it it will read the ohms and fires my coils great. If I put my ijoy limitless xl tank base on it it does not read it. I put the same base on my mod and yes it works fine. I was thinking that the 510 connect was not long enough to touch the spring loaded pin but if I took the coil off of the xl tank base I can push the center pin down then I put it back on the mini and it got pushed back up so it is making contact then while still on the mini I put the coil back on the base but nothing reads from the mini. I took it off and put on my mod and it works. Does anyone have any ideas? I even have a lasiemo 200 watt mod and it comes with a 510 spacer because if you use a tank over 22mm it will hit the screen which is on the top of the mod next to the 510 connect. I put that on the mini and it worked for one of my ijoy xl tank base but not for the other one. Crazy sorry for such a long post. Just looking for some ideas here Thank you in advance
