Coils are ok and then short out

Ugh getting frustrated. Ive recently been rebuilding my protank heads. I think it's a relatively simple concept. Watched some videos. Read some advice. Seems easy enough. Yesterday I rebuilt a bunch of coils to be stocked up for the week. I tried making my first micro coils too. Tested them. All working. Then as soon as a put them in a tank with juice I get an OP or E1 error on my provari. Especially with the micro coils. Arg! What am I doing wrong?

Make sure the positive wire lead is not poking out of the grommet and shorting to ground on the 510 connector of your battery.

Also make sure that the stem isn't contacting the coil inside the head after you install the stem.

For me the grommets have failed pretty easily. I've only built a few but each one failed before the tank was finished (which is why I've only ever bothered rebuilding a few) because the grommet tore.
