Hello I'm trying to make a .5 ohm dual coil build but I can't seem to make 1 ohm coils. I'm using 24g kanthal. Any tips or tricks?

Using a 3mm tool to wrap your coil on it would require 11 wraps (each coil). 26 gauge would be better.

exactly. more wraps or (better) higher gauge wire. 24 is ultra thick wire meant for low ohms

1ohm on 26g at 3mm would be 6 wraps roughly. And that's about what you want. At 24g maybe try 2.5mm at 5 wraps that'll get you closer at least
