coincidence or is there something to this?

Ok I got our curiosity with the heading.

I've been fighting a head cold for a few days runny nose like a fauset.

I was taking benadryl at night to help me sleep but nothing was working in the day time.


Last night on the way home from work still sneezing and runny nose I decided to take a vape.


Now I havent vapped in a few days as I had no taste buds within 2 minutes I was dried up and all done as of this after noon completely dry and gone.


Could this be a freak coincidence or what?

No. Well, I don,t know medically, but I have't been sick since I started vaping.

glad your feeling better... i just got the vape flu... had 101 fever and vomitted for three days. im pretty sure its cuz i didnt steep long enough

I suppose it's possible. Vaping is known to cause dehydration and since vapor spreads throughout your throat and sinus cavities, which are connected (via the eustacian tube) to your middle ear, etc, it's completely plausible that it has dried things out for you. But I'm no doctor or expert on the matter...

Coincidence, without a complete and concise list of everything you were exposed to or the medications you had been taking and at what times it is impossible to say vaping was the cause.

So you were feeling ill and then got better right after vaping?
Would be nice if vaping also cured the common cold - but more likely than not... you just got better.

Weird story.....I was sitting in my living room one day last year. I decided to check the mail. I was almost out the door when I turned around and grabbed a mod off of the kitchen counter. I took a vape while walking down the driveway towards the mailbox. There was a rather substantial tax refund check in the box. Coincidence, right? Well, get this....the very next day. I didn't grab a mod.... I just hiked to the mailbox with no vape. What was in there? No check. But I did get a surprisingly hi definition photo of me running a red light. You do the math.

Yes I had a mean head cold no fever no sore throat didnt vape for 4 days but once I went back it cleared right up I figured it may have helped dry me out.
