Runny nose

I started vaping on New Year so it's almost been 2 months. I'm still smoking analogs, about 5 a day. What I notice is when I'm not vaping, I would always get a runny nose. Even if I take a ciggy, the runny nose won't stop. But if I vape, it will eventually stop.
Yesterday, I forgot to bring my pv to work. All day at work I had a runny nose. I wasn't craving for my pv, but the runny nose is still there even after I took a ciggy break. When I got home, after vaping for abit the runny nose was gone. So today I didn't vape at work today just to see if i get a runny nose, and runny nose again. It just felt like my spring allergy, the runny nose wouldn't stop. Anyone experience something similar? I'm not sick or anything, no cold, no sore throat, no bodyaches or headaches. Everything seems fine just that runny nose when I don't vape.

Here is my opinion, you are possibly rejecting the other garbage in cigarettes. Also, vaping will dehydrate you so please drink tons of water.

On the sticky notes on this forum I did read about ciggy withdrawal and I think it did mention runny nose. But will it also happen if i didn't quit ciggy? I am taking alot less then I use to. Use to smoke about a pack and 1/2 a day, now down to 5. For sure I'm drinking alot alot of water so I don't think is the dehydration. But even when I take a ciggy it don't stop my runny nose unless I vape.

Since I quit ciggies my allergies have become WAY worse and also my childhood asthma is back. Ciggies DID have their benefits for me but they imo they don't outweigh the risks so I stay off of them. Vaping probably dries out your mucus membranes just enough to stop the runny nose
