Steeping uncapped (in a very clean environment free from dust and contaminants) can be great for any flavors that have citrus notes. However, steeping capped and shaking regularly is the recommended way to steep a juice. You can let the Juice “breathe” by opening the cap and exchanging the air every few days. Steeping will allow water in the VG to evaporate, thus strengthening the flavor.
The juice should be completely steeped in about a week, but a longer steep can bring out a more full flavor as well, depending on the flavor (unless you’re sitting under a pinon tree at noon in Albuquerque, NM . . . then maybe 20 min., lol!)
Other flavors are immediately vapable in my opinion, but you may want to try your Juices immediately, and then decide if you would like to steep them further. The more complex the juice the more it will benefit from the daily shaking (mixing) and sitting (steeping). Most important thing to remember is to
keep it away from light. As my old thinkgeek t-shirt alludes to..
So to recap: Room temperature like 60F-77F, ALWAYS SHIELDED FROM LIGHT, let breath, warm the bottles in your hand or girlfriend's Bra,
shake a lot (or get a jeweler cleaner or nail-polish shaker), store undisturbed in darkness for 24hrs with the cap on. Repeat as desired. Even a day, or two will make a difference.
I like to steep them under the stairs

(My first one stopped working after a day. The replacement works but since it's so damn loud, I only run it 30 seconds at a time.)
