I just recently starting noticing an issue when I vape. Current setup is a Lavatuve (1st version) with a Vivi Pyrex tank.

I normally vape 4v on 1.8ohm coils on my tank. That's my sweet spot that gives me nice warm vapes. However, recently half way through a draw it gets cold. It's still producing vapor normally, but the draw get way too cold for my liking. It's weird because it was never an issue before, and even now the draw starts warm, but then just dead cold.

Any idea what could be going on?

the Vivi's get air from a hole in the 510 base you could restrict that by blocking it something or try a little more voltage. What is happening when you draw on it you bring in cool air and juice and it will cool the coils. so either of these would affect the problem. I think they make a air restriction that will work on that but I don't remember who carries it.:)

VVNV coils can be fickle things. One of the coil leads may have been loose. It may have had a hot spot from bad assembly. Either of those problems could cause the resistance of the coil to fluctuate while in use. May have started fine, then the resistance went low, then your LT shut down because the resistance was too low.

There is a lot of "how to" info on ECF regarding Vivi Nova's. Most of the threads should be buried in this part of the forum => Clearomizers

The Vivi Nova isn't the 'latest, greatest' darling any more so you have to dig down a few pages to start finding 'em.
