I don't know, but I had a face to face with Congressman Dr Raul Ruiz from my district in California during a fund raising at a residence. I asked him about it. He wasn't familiar. Told him it was about vaping. He said its good for smokers but marketed to teens. I said marketed to teens is not accurate, that the tobacco control industry is telling this story and unless the predicate date is moved forward, 98% of vape products will be banned. I said the FDA is trying to ban vaping. I had "Cole-Bishop amendment HR 1136" written on a postit note. He asked to take the note with him so he could check it out.

At least he knew it was good for smokers. That's some progress.

I thought they were trying to include it in the US budget. I read somewhere budget was due by April 28th? Nothing ever seems to get done on time though. I guess when you spend 4-5 hours a day in a call center begging people for money to fund your next campaign, you don't have time to actually do your job.
