colibri vs screwdriver vs ego advice please

I've been vaping since the start and tried lots of different crappy ecigs like the early 84m models that leaked in your mouth and only worked for 5 mins before I finally settled on the colibri micro, I was actually one of the first people in the country to try it as I had one sent directly from kimree in China long before epuffer started selling them.

The colibri is fine for when I'm out and about, it has the best pcc by miles (I've tried them all) and the vapor is about as good as you can get from something the same size as a real cig, however, it still suffers from problems like batteries dying after a few months, and vapor production goes downhill pretty quickly when the carts wear out.also the colibri has too many holes that make a hissing noise and need covering up to get a decent hit, so I would like something that doesn't have that problem, The E8 from China was the quietest I've used but I got fed up of the batteries setting fire to my pocket!

What I'm looking for is something I can use at home that will give me masses of vapor and not need constant maintenance, I am used to using cartomizers and have been refilling my colibri carts for years with no problems. Its amazing how many times you can refill a cartomizer before its starts letting you down, even though they're supposed to be disposable.

I don't know what dripping means but I don't like the idea of having to get a bottle of e-liquid out every time I want to vape,I don't mind the idea of a seperate atomizer as long as it doesn't need constant cleaning or have to be replaced all the time,so far I've been looking at the ego and the screwdriver but they seem to be very old technology compared to the colibri so was wondering of there's anything newer on the market. I would even consider a pipe or cigar model if it would give me clouds of vapor and good battery life, I am too impatient to mess about with mods unless its something I can just buy as a ready to go kit.

so far I have used the e8, ds084, nucig, e-lites, vaporettes disposible, kimree x3(same as colibri), kimree x5, and a few others that I can't remember, basically I'm happy enough with the colibri as something to smoke at the bus stop without having to the same old boring conversations explaining what it is but now I want something heavy duty and reliable to use at home.

Check out the Epower, kGo, and Riva. Their all very affordable 3.7V PVs that have 510 connections.
I use an Epower and really like it bc it uses non-proprietary batteries, which are removable, and Epower batteries cost only $4-6 compared to eGo/kGo/riva batteries that cost $14-20. Also everything is replaceable on the EPower which makes it cheaper to maintain. The Epower batteries are 1050mah and I get on avg a day to a day and a half on one battery.
The kGo is also a great PV, even though it uses proprietary batteries. It gives a great vape And the batteries are 1100mah so they last a long time and most peoPle get at least a full day on a battery.
You can get an Epower kit or kGo kit for about $45, and I thInk you'd be really happy with either. I prefer the Epower and kGo over the eGo bc they are both 3.7V PVs while the eGo is only 3.3-3.4V. The 3.7V PVs provide alittle more oomph and alittle more TH, and more importantly handle the lower resiistance attys and cartos a lot better.

With either one I recOmmend trying the Reasurector cartos. They are 1.7ohm LR and hold about 2ml of juIce so they last a pretty long time. They give an awesome vape with a ton of vapor and they work great on the Epower and the kGo. And if you want to go even longer without refilling, the Smoktech 3.5ml tank is cheap and works great. I use the 3.5ml tanks on my Epower and really like it bc their big enough that I can fill it in the morning and not need to refill all day, yet it's still small enough that I can easily carry my Epower with the tank on it in my pocket. The Smoktech tanks are dual coil tanks, but that doesn't mean you have to use dual coil cartos in it. I think dual coil cartos suck at lower voltages so I didn't even use the DC carto that comes with the tank. Instead I use the Ressurector cartos instead and they work a LOT better. They are single coil, but since their XL cartos they are the same size as a dual coil and they fit perfectly in the tank and give an awesome maintenance free vape.
I would def try the Ressurector cartos bc I think you'll really like them, and even if your not sure if you want to use a tank, for only $10 the Smoktech tanks are worth trying, plus they come with a pre-punched dual coil carto and a drip tip which makes them an even better deal.

I recommend getting something w/ removable, rechargable batteries and a 510 connection. Just was never a big fan of the semi disposables and think you'll eventually want to be able to change batteries and configurations rather than buying new batteries. Just my $.02. Whatever you buy the best of luck to you!

that is a valid point on buying a mod.there is the other side for the new user you could damage the mod and be out that much more money among other issues but i do think a 510 has the most choices also the ego has the most following from what i've read. some say a 1year of use with no problem.
