This all is highly amusing! Better than television! I only wish I could focus long enough to contribute. By the time I can stop for long enough . . . things have changed.
Don't forget if you are apprehensive about jumping into the main story you can do background stuff or even introduce new characters thousands of miles away. I wonder how the outbreak has effected the people in the UK for example..

Would Marcus and Ella's powers cancel each other out?
Why is the army searching for Marcus? Did they spot him on a security camera or do they have some sort of detection method for the energy released when someone uses a power? Are they searching for Ella as well?
How did Gabriel keep his e-cig charged? Why doesn't this method work for the de-locater?
What's a de-locater do anyway?
What did Gabriel see that scared him enough to turn back when he was previously in the CDC facility?
What is the name of the defense contractor in question here? Who is in charge? Who was that army guy talking to on the radio?
All of these questions need answered.

I just watched The Zombie Diaries last night, and it had a similar premise . . . 3 separate stories that all came together. A rather odd way. Decent story for a low budget flick.

I'm thinking a 5V charger (could be operated from a hand crank like the weather radio/flashlight thingies) isn't nearly enough power for the delocator. But, now that they have wheels couldn't they use the vehicle battery to charge the delocator?
Do Hiro and Ella actually understand that Gabriel has a delocator?

Charge doesn't have to mean electricity either. A cannon is 'charged' with black powder, the charging handle on a machine gun loads cartridges (bullets to some), and of course the most dangerous charge of all: The CHARGE CARD! Rumor has it that the last one runs on blood, sweat, tears, and dreams...

He told them he had one and used it and implied he still posessed it. He has not said what it is or what it does and they seem to keep getting interrupted before they can chat..

Nice post Mac...I finally got that BOB post done and I will be looking to add to the story here soon.
We are losing traction. I could do this all by my lonesome I suppose, but that does defeat the original purpose. I am gonna give it like 30 days and then make a decision whether to scrap the whole idea or contact the original writers to discuss a corporate take over..

We can edit, re-edit and re-edit again. What we need right now are ideas worded in a way that flows. The finer points can always be re-hashed.
Mac, isn't it time you put up another edgy poll ? Having a debate over there seems to spark the creative juices over here. I can't think of anything to poll but I bet you could!
To be honest . . . the main reason that I haven't put anything down is because I write in an odd way. I always sit down and think about my chapters and get them set into their groups; then I start an outline of each chapter; and then I fill in the details. I had one teacher accuse me of cheating because my final draft was longer than my rough draft. I just get too confused if I don't have the boundaries already set.
