Hi Everyone..

I had a spontaneous pneumothorax (collapsed Lung) several months ago which basically made me quit the analogues on the spot! (was in hospital for the week with the usual treatment for it etc) thing is I really wasn't ready to quit smoking, and I really enjoyed smoking etc.. so my quest for an alternative began.. it wasn't long before I discovered vaping and I never/havn't touched an analogue since..

I know probably putting anything in the lung (Especially after a collapsed one) is a great idea, but I figured it's got to be better than analogues, and if anything I could use it as a stepping stone to quiting completely from putting anything in my lung.

thing is I'm finding vaping soo enjoyable I don't really want to "have to" stop I love doing it, and it's become like a kind of hobby almost..so far I've not had any problems and I don't inhale that often, just sort of play with vaper and taste it, I take the odd throat hit..

soo.. I was wondering if anyone else has quit analogues and moved to vaping for something like this, and how they've got on with it etc.. be interested to hear your stories, comments..etc

Thanks:)

Hi CayCay..

Thanks for your reply:)

and wow that's a young age to experience that :( I can only imagine how scary that must be for a 3yr old.. bad enough as an adult when we know what's going on etc.. mann.. sorry you went through that. Soo Glad you havnt had to deal with it since..:)

and yeah, the first thing they asked (Though they usually do etc) is do you smoke etc, but I also fit the typical profile, skinny etc

I'm 39 and started smoking when I was 18, but otherwise perfectly healthy.. the doc said smoking doesn't actually cause it but certainly increases the chances of having one (And another) soo..

Good thing we discovered ecigs:) as I really enjoyed smoking too

and yup!.. CHEERS!.. *raises a glass" here's to healthy vapors everywhere..

Thank You for the reply!. I was beging to think this thread had vanished into the internet abyss..
