College paper

Hey ECF.

I'm in college and started vaping just under a month ago now. I choose it to help me cease smoking cigarettes and so far it's been great. I am currently writing a paper for my English class about vaping and am looking for quality resources that say more than "it's probably better than smoking but we aren't sure yet"...

Anybody got good resources? I'm about to hit ECF's news feed.

This offers a TON of great articles/resources.

Also, don't be afraid to use (particularly) the Legal Status section of Wikipedia's entry on e-cigarettes. Don't link to Wikipedia, or use Wikipedia as your source, rather click on the little numbers next to the various factoids, and they'll take you to the sources that they were originally posted on.

I think writing a college paper about e-cigarettes is a great idea, and I think it's definitely important for you to not be biased, but to leave the reader with the decision. For most people, it's obvious that e-cigarettes can't be as bad as cigarettes. I got my BA in English (although I'm a sysadmin/IT guy now lol, pays better), so I can help you (structurally/technically) if you need it. Good luck.

You can start off by reading on the ingredients (Pg/Vg, flavoring, and nicotine) research them and look into how vaporizers vaporize instead of burn like traditional cigarettes
