2 suggestions
first have her gargle with very strong sea salt water solution
second and I'll probably catch all kinds of grief for saying this have her chew up an aspirin and swallow it. Must be good old aspirin not ibuprofen or acetaminophen. When I was younger that's what mom and dad had us do the aspirin will kill almost any tickle/sore throat you've got. and they don't taste that bad. If she fusses and you have the what used to be baby aspirin have her chew up 2. but the nasty tasting ones work the best
