Gooood morning. Sorry not been around mostly finished moving. Now Mr krispy has a question.

Someone explain ribbon wire to standard wire gauge. Make it simple what ribbon should I get that can make ummm 1.9 ohm with about 5 wraps.

Just use only button top batteries with your ribbon, Krisp.

Very happy new year to you, buddy! Where didja move to? I hope you didn't go back to that big ugly city.

Norman, Ok
I've never used the ribbon myself... so I can't answer the tech info part of that ( what size etc )...

I can say what I've heard is that since it has more surface area it can provide more flavor and/or vapor depending on how it's setup. I hear about it more from the cloud chasers than I do from the flavor chasers.

I think this is going to depend on the ID of the wraps...

but here is some info for you about Kanthal A1 Flat Ribbon

0.9 x 0.1 mm - 0.4266 6 Ohm / in <-- stupid filter stopped me from writing two followed by three consecutive 6s
0.8 x 0.1 mm - 0.48000 Ohm / in
0.7 x 0.1 mm - 0.54833 Ohm / in
0.6 x 0.1 mm - 0.64000 Ohm / in
0.5 x 0.1 mm - 0.76666 Ohm / in
0.4 x 0.1 mm - 0.95000 Ohm / in

EDIT: Updated value for 0.9x0.1mm
