Hmmmm, maybe easier than Cherry, LOL.

I just put in an order for Cinnamon Rolls. Has anyone tried it? If so what did you think of it?
I'll tell you what.. I'm very happy Old Guss and is Cleonati aren't forcing Cherry back out just to take advantage of the craze over it. Getting right is better than getting it fast. -Magnus

Dave, I thought I remembered seeing that you were close to solving the cherry mystery. Did something change?
Sounds tasty, Magnus. I forgot to ask Old Guss for a sample on my last order.
Hot buttered rum used to be one of my favorite winter drinks.
Will definitely try some though when it makes its way onto the site.
Actually, I really did need the documents.. or some unpleasant Government liaisons were about to have an "issue" with me.
I got the Vermillion package about 45m ago and there are four bottles. Three unlabeled. The first unlabeled I opened was obviously Butter Rum. So here is my ~40m take on it so far:
It's a light copper and quite clear, same consistency as the Kentucky line. I don't know the PG/VG ratio so Old Guss will have to comment. On the nose it's a strong and clear spiced rum cocktail, like a Sailor Jerry. It's not artificial on the nose like Kraken but it's not quite a proper Gosling's either. Vapor production is typical for a Vermillion, not quite as much as the Kentucky line but more than the Florida Citrus or Pineapples. On the inhale there is a spicy rum & butter quality without a rum bite. The way it lingers makes me think of a light natural Bay Rum aftershave with some clove. A good pleasant tasty sensation and throat tickle. On the exhale it's just light taking a deep breath after drinking a hot buttered rum that was maybe a bit light on clove. So rum, sugar, butter, a bit of clove.. this is quite true to a hot buttered rum on the nose and on the vape.
I most definitely approve and I'm not sure if adding clove to make it even more like the drink would be advisable. I'm fairly certain it would overpower the rest of the experience.
Now.. some didn't like this. May I ask why? Have you had a hot buttered rum before?
In terms of naming and in light of Vermillion's UK invasion I'm going to suggest "Nelson's Buttered Rum" as a reference to Admiral Horatio Nelson. Whom many a fantastic rum is named after. Only one, IMO, deserves the name at that's Pusser's Nelson's Blood. If that doesn't work the Buttered Rum is well enough and as accurate a name as could be. You could also go with Virgin Buttered Rum.
The other two mystery bottles I'll have to open later. For now I'm going to spend the day enjoying this buttered rum...
Most excellent Old Guss, most excellent. -Magnus
EDIT: Throat hit was mild to medium at 3.7v and 2.0ohms. I don't have a Vv on me to try some variance. On a slow draw at this combination it's a very pleasant cocktail. I suspect at HV it will have more of a kick for those who like stronger buttered rum at a less leisurely pace.
Thank You MrsDash for your take on the Cinnamon Roll. I love the cin-a-bon booth in my mall and I was hoping it would taste close to them or even like them. You got me excited and now I can't wait to get it. I'll let you know what I think when it gets here.
