It's been a bit over a year since my last vape, I took an easy excuse out and started smoking analogs again, however I would like to come back but it seems there is so much more choice now.

I used to vape on a 901, I have a few batteries + chargers left over
(2 reg manual batteries + 1 USB manual + 1 homemade manual USB + car/usb/wall plug charger).

I have seen a lot of good said about the 510 but would like to know if the 510 atomizers will work with the 901 batteries?
If not, is there any new good atomizer working with those batteries?

Back then atomizers were lasting usually up to 1-3 weeks depending on quality but were about $15-20, are new atomizers (aomizer/cartomizer??) costing $8-$10 about the same ?

I'm looking around in the forums and seeing so many new brands that I am a bit lost, everybody recommending different brands, battery life doesn't matter to me much since I use my USB 99% of the time (I read the guide thing too but I'd like personal opinions).

Thanks

The 901 atomizer will not work with 510 batteries, but you can get an small adapter for a couple of bucks to make it work.

As far as atomizer life, I would like to think people are getting a lot more out of them than a few weeks.
My atomizers are lasting a very, very long time.

I have been using my current atomizer (510) exclusively for over 7 months now.
But I only go through about 1ml of juice per day, so I am light vaper.

But you might want to check this out...

From your own experience are 510 better than 901 atomizers ?
The max I had ever taken one was 1 month, and I had tried to clean them with a bunch of different ideas (posted on a different forums I was on), some were a nice temp fix, some didn't work at all. But I used to use drip method ONLY so that most likely account to the lifespan of my atomizers.

I have 901's batteries/chargers, no atomizers, which is why I am trying to see if I can find a better atomizer than the 901 but working with 901's batteries (I'll try to look for that adapter you were talking about, thanks).

Thanks for your reply.

between here and there
Hello,
Welcome back to vaping. I am new also and have only been vaping about 2 months. I probably did what most newbies do before finding this site. That is, I start with a relative expensive ecig(safecig) and continued to go up from there. I just recently got a Joye 650 ego passthrough.(I think I'm in luv) Wish I had found that in the beginning(before spending lots of money getting there). I have to say that the minute I picked up my first ecig, I haven't wanted analogs. And I smoked analogs for over 30 yrs. And since I have found I want to try many different flavors (other than tobacco) that I have had to lower my nic intake.
I also have a KR8088D and have the adapters to switch cartomizers and carts between the two. Best of both worlds.
Good luck in finding what you can be happy with. This is the place to do that. Tons of info. And I am still looking over the sight and finding all kinds of info and instructions. Great place. We are lucky to have stumbled onto it.

Sorry, can't help you there.

I've tried 510s, 306s, BE112s, DSE103s, RN4081s, and KR808D-1 cartomizers.
But I've never tried a 901 atomizer yet.

Dripping should not have any effect on the lifespan of your atomizer.

Drip away without worrying about it.
