is there some kind of quality difference or price? Or just that its being made in the US? I don't understand why this is supposed to be exciting...

For me it's exciting that it will be made in the US, that is becoming rare! The Customs issue will hopefully not be such a problem and easier to moniter quality control instead of going all the way to China.;)

i'm so excited about this - usa liquids all the way!!

Is the nicotine being extracted in the US, or just flavor mixed with juice in the US?

I was only aware of one approved lab in the US for nicotine extraction and, thanks to the FDA, they won't get near the ecig-space.

As far as why I'M jazzed about US production... I must admit, I'm not totally crazy about the track record of strange toxic chemicals finding their way into products to help keep costs down over there, i.e. melamine in baby formula... I know, I know, probably (hopefully) was very isolated, but you can't fault a guy for wondering - I'm inhaling this more than a few times throughout the day

and of course, US jobs, economy, blah blah! :D

I did some research on that when xenophobia was running rampant some months back. The numbers, according to the FDA, were 4:1 or 6:1 (I honestly would have to go look them up and count them all again) in FAVOR of the Chinese - and that wasn't taking volume into account. Meaning that one was millions of times more likely to find tainted US products vs Chinese-made products in the US.

My conclusion at the time was something along the lines of the media creating xenophobia because they could - or they were bored. [shrug] Same diff to me. All good for ratings!

As I understand it....the FDA ban only applies to imports, so a US maker could mean a more reliable supply outside of FDA/Customs control. Always a good thing...

However.....

Does this mean another complete change in flavor formulas again?

im pretty sure chinese companys will continue to send stuff here. just look at steroids, you can order them and even though they are banned, they still get sent. the risk would be that sometimes customs would confiscate(sp?) the stuff.

Everyone who knows me knows that I don't like chocolate, and I sure as hell don't like raspberry.

Fact is, it's really good juice (I still won't vape it regularly because of the flavors, but I DID try it!). It's surprisingly realistic.

I can really recommend it to those who like those flavors. I am looking forward to what else is coming, as I need something for ME, ME, ME!

:)
