lol, so far a volt kit and (and didn't rip win one of those as well?) and a GH1 sampler! Two of my biggest wins! both after commiserating here about how my record sucks! Thanks rip for taking one for the team...

..but aren't hippies supposed to believe in karmic balance and have a laid back, take it easy attitude? Or are you some kind of Neo-Hippie?

He is a proto-hippie, that recognizes karmic balance extends over several lifetimes and that he may not see the balance in this one...

Sometimes a losing streak seems longer than the power of random selection and the choices made would allow; I am far too reflective, questioning all I have done and said; perhaps its the curse of being a Gemini (I miss you Lois ) and never having a center, just two diametrically opposite poles that the fates cannot rest at.........or I just could be a unfocused and loopy flake!!!!

In case you all have wondered, I have three great members I know and love who all have been called BB by others at one time, since I was getting confusing in my references, the list of the awesome BBs, there is never an insult intended, its rare that all three people with an acronym are so cool.......

BB#1 -- BengalBacker, the original, god of mod contest winning oh, who am I kidding?

BB#2 -- BrutusBuckeye, a friend who joined around the same time as me and our journeys have paralled and intertwined often!

Oh, I won a few things - and I am not complaining at all about those wins . . . Matter of fact, I am very appreciative, since I could not afford them right now . . . Just wish I knew how to work some of the equipment (cannot work the eGos - keep shutting off ) and the Cartos - still trying though . . . .But like you, forget winning anything - especially if it is based on "like" or Random Drawings . . . and as for Mods - are you kidding me ! ! ! I would like to WIN a MOD ! ! ! ! (Never be able to afford one of those on my benefit's)

Plus as you know, I couldn't and wouldn't have accepted anything from that Contest given the tenor and what happened toward the end. If I took the prize - ALL I would have felt is that the prize was given me "BECAUSE HE HAD TOO" . . .

I worked really hard on making something I knew nothing about, even made sure nothing was "pilfered" or copyrighted . . . And while they may not have been great or better then anyone else's . . . even though the "winners' were announced never found out which ones won . . . AND - Now are you really telling me after all that HARD WORK and everything that not only I and you put into that Contest - NO ONE - Got their prizes . . . Not even the groupies . . . YOU HAVE GOT TO BR KIDDING ME ! ! ! THAT IS SO WRONG ! ! !

Nope, no DoD for me either from that one....but I am betting he just fell on hard times. I would imagine that is why magnus never came back either. The designer sent me a custom one because I recommended a cool mod for them though.

Can't remember the thread where it was discussed, but someone from PIF managed to get in touch with him off-site and find out what was going on, and as I recall that was the gist of it.

I'm so sorry for him, I didn't know that; the prize was unneeded (Its OK, Uncle, I've told you that previously!) so I never followed up -- sorta funny in a sick way, you must admit............
