hmmm, you're going to make it to work by around 4pm? (assuming with an 8am start that the day would be over around 5pm...) Yeah, no!

We had one guy call in, saying he was sick on a Friday. Nearly two hours later, he posts on facebook that he is on the way to Austin....really? AND you friended others at work??? His mother should be so proud, what an intelligent young man

Alrighty, enough of the negativity, time for some happiness!!! (well sad song, but makes me happy anyhow!!)

I think that's why I always rose so quickly at any job I had -- I had this rare quality called a 'Work Ethic', where any job to be done is to be dome well and quickly , no matter the compensation, its your job, dammit!!! Thank god for my dad teaching me -- and I know I spoil the crap out of my kid, I'm definitely going to ride him about whatever his first job may be and make sure he cares and kicks .... I remember once I came home hammered and had to open the next day at Dominick's -- my dad did the water pour (8-o8-o8-o) and got me on my way, no matter how ill I was, because I had a responsibility to not only the store but my coworkers to do my job........a good lesson learned early!!!

Oh hell....you guys are NEVER going to believe this. Ok, you're going to have to believe it, cause I'll show you pictures.

I got my prize today, my variable volt eGo...I've been looking forward to it ALL week, SOO excited!! I open it up, put on my 306 and it's HEAVEN!! Wonderful, thick tasty vapor, I'm in love!

And then I attempt to take off the plastic drip tip cover on the 306 atty... and this happened.


I'm heartbroken!! I just lived out my very own twisted wish

I can't even do anything about it, it was a contest prize, I'm not going to complain...I'm just going to hope against hope that my uncle's rusty soldering skills might save my poor poor prize. I've never gone from estatic to devastated like this in five minutes flat.

Yeah, I was trying to twist-pull the cover off and it just popped apart. Thank you Ripple, It's alright...I called my uncle, he's going to try and fix it tomorrow I hope.

ON NO !!! sweetz ....you should still let BAD know ...IDK? whether a PM or just the new ticket system would be best ...but I would let him know ...

Kelly I think you're now my official psychic so very relevant, and timely...If my only big problem in life is that I don't have two batteries right now, I have no problems at all.

I'll think about letting Bad know, but I just feel like an idiot in doing so. "hey, you gave me a free toy, I broke it ten minutes later, can I have another one??" LOL my parents would have said "Yeah right!" about then. I might ask them if they know where the wire connects inside though, cause I can't see the soldering point to connect it back.

I did go ahead and pm Bad, and asked if he knew where to reattach the wire, but I'm so not going to ask for a second free battery. You're right, if I were him I would want to know, and I'm so hoping this doesn't happen to anyone else!

Edit: I'm going online right now to order Kelley a halo She cheered me up with good tunes, and she's an angel for offering an extra battery. I'm completely taken aback by her generosity and her kindness, and she's one of the angels that make ECF special.

Sweetz, I really think badkol and dannoman would want to know this immediately now that I have thought of it more -- they have already had their share of negativity about from some members and they sure as heck don't want anymore. I would definitely leave a ticket but I would send a PM, too, with the title of the mod broke near-immediately -- I know I would want to know and react for the good publicity that would happen after that kind of effort from a vendor.........

Thankfully I don't think it's the same battery they are selling now. The ones on their site are four cycle, and this one was three.

Perhaps it was a test batch they got in and were sharing hopefully I'm the only unlucky one and the rest were fine but either way I did pm bad and will make sure he knows cause you are all right, if I were him I would want to know.

I've gone through it a hundred times in my head, and really don't think I was using any kind of excessive force, a different motion of my hands, anything I hadn't done tens of times on my usual battery.

Regardless, I want you guys to know I don't hold it against them, they're a good vendor and the last thing I would want to do is besmirch that in the least!

Good vendors (and good products) get the occasional lemon. Hopefully that is the case. From what I have read, I don't doubt they will check it all out. Still it stinks that your new toy broke sweetz...and that is an EPIC FAIL Wondering if sweetz is secretly She-Ra.
