Are you in the running for a Mark's mod, or is it a Ripple Impersonator?

(I know you wouldn't want to lobby, but I'm sure many of us would want to support you if you are. ;))

Yes, it is I!!! I forgot but just voted -- do you think its too snarky to provide a link?!?!?!?:laugh:

Yes, I think it would be completely crass for you to provide a link to Basil Ray's Mark's Mod giveaway and mention that you appear to be #17. Of course, folks could vote for #6 (another friend of mine) if they prefer. It would be begging.

Now, how much are you offering for a vote? ;)

Can I commiserate about a mod that's not necessarily from a contest?

If someone says "good condition," should it take 45 minutes of scrubbing with alcohol to be able to find the metal? And if an included part requires a cable and the poster says "I have it" would you expect it to be included? And if they told you after you've paid that "the brass threads that the 510 screws into, this part is kinda stripped, but an 801 will work fine." would you expect it to look like this:

threads1.jpg

(and yes, that's after a 20 minute soak in PGA and 15 minutes with a Q-tip--it took about an hour and a half to get enough petrified noalox, and some unidentifiable fibrous substance, out of the threads and nooks and crannies to make it usable)

For the price I paid I am still satisfied with what I got, but I do not feel that the information provided was given in good faith. Perhaps I should have taken "Yes I have the cable also but I need to tear up the house to find it." to have an implied "but I won't" on the end

Ah well, with the parts I did get, it was still a helluva deal...

Wow! Whoever you bought that from needs a kick in the groin for abusing their equipment.

I'm thinking it's been unused for a while. And was stored in a barn. It's cleaned up decently after an hour and a half of alcohol, Q-tips, toothpicks and paper towels, but I think I'm going to have to boil the parts for a while to actually get it clean...

On the other hand, pictures that were posted of it in 2010 look absofrigginlutely gorgeous...

Wow...

Who: Vapebash vs Vapefest

Where: Chicago: The Windy City

When: March 30th & 31st

Lots of hurt buttholes have created this match-up.

Whoever wins this battle, rest assured that the vapers lose...

Not as much as the vendors who have to make a choice -- there are some really petulant people on both sides with long-standing disagreements, I just want peace and love and some partying!!!

That's the 801/510 threads to a 4-in-1 cap. And Imeo is already sending one to Bruce :thumb:

And it was the package with the "battery" spacer and end-cap for a pass-through, but no cord. That wasn't what I was buying it for so there's no great loss, but I was curious to try it out if he'd found the cord to include.

Still got about an hour or so of cleaning to get it "into shape," but it's clean enough to vape now and it's remarkable how much lighter it is than the SSGGTS's, even though I knew it would be :D
