Generally I am too, but I have found that if I sit next to a "social butterfly" personality, then everyone meets them and the chair next to them (me). Try it some time.

Ripple, I have been wondering and worrying about Magnus also. Maybe pwyll or pchela have some updated news for us... if you hear anything, please LMK. Although I also won a mod and DoD in that contest, it is my understanding that he fell ill shortly thereafter. I pray that he returns soon, his sophisticated humor was unmatched!
Went to a meetup today...super fantastic, lost some raffles, but did get some cool gear. I have a new indulgence and some VV ego's to play with and a couple of the vision stone tanks. An auto passthrough

The auto-passthrough is just like a 510 or 808 auto battery, but never needs charging, as it is plugged in. They are so rare to find with an auto switch.
I love the button on that indulgence much better than my roughstack, and it sure looks pretty with a SS capped tank. Now I need to find a brushed anodized or stell "ming" or "pawn" style driptip and that will be my most pimped mod. between that and my copper I am set like a jet...just need a fine-tuning VV to make my collection complete...maybe a provari or darwin. They both look really nice!
there needs to be a flood of contests for a provari so I have a decent shot at one.

I still have the PM from him confirming that the DoD kits had been ordered from MadVapes--he sent that on October 18th. The last public post I can find of his is this one from October 3rd, but it appears the last activity on his account was on November 15th when this was posted to his visitor messages:

I know Rose had reached out to Magnus through email and he let us know that he was doing a lot better but was in a rehab center trying to get back on his feet and that we would be back soon. That was a couple months ago and that was the last I heard from him..
Rose heard from him in November. He said he was recovering and had limited internet access and wasn't allowed to vape or work but hoped he'd be able to visit here soon. We've heard nothing else from him.
