wow, you should replace those leads...what are they, 15 feet? my 6 foot ones are .2 ohm. (I highly recommend fluke if you can get them)
Sorry for the loss rip...been a slow month for the ripplets.

ISBN
I dug out my Leo. They're pretty much the same as testing any atty. Do you have a multi meter? - If so set to 200 on ohms - ohms looks like a greek omega symbol - touch leads together ( I get 1.3 when I do this - it's the resistance of the leads) then on bottom of atty put 1 lead on inside center - touch other lead to threads - subtract your 1.3 or whatever your lead resistance was. I got 3.8 - the 1.3 = 2.5 which is what it should be. Hope this helps.

You must be 18 to use these forums...but respond with the limitations of a 6th grader! lol...but for the most part they are "work safe"

This is incorrect. My daughter is in 2nd grade and even they can use Moby Richard's nickname...

I also didn't know 'more-on' was a bad word, either, Bugs Bunny used it......why is it bad? Is there some connotation I'm not aware of?:laugh:

I am very apprehensive about saying anything right Now - But just to commiserate with you about this a little, remember I posted about this here a while ago when i used the wrong "word" . . .

Yep - it is call being a "Donkey" if you do not know how to write something that a child of 3 can understand so you do not offend or upset those who might be sensitive to "vulgar" language like that . . .

Seriously, whatever is being use to censor certain words, has got to be set at so low that even the simplest of words that are use my most children will be cut or deleted from some post (not all, because I see a lot of stuff all over the place) . . .

AND - I do not think it is just being politically correct though . . . Think - Victorian England, Puritans, or even the Extremist Christian Right about what is or is not correct to say in public . . .

Matter of fact, what is funny about all this kind of stuff is there is a group called the "Language Police" or "Tongue Troopers" in Quebec Canada to make sure that the Official Languages Act of 1969 is adhered to . . . You should read some of the stuff people have to go though there . . .

Considering that mor-on is censored but moronic isn't--nor idiot or stupid--I am assuming it is not an automatic filter that has "levels" but a manual filter in which the words have to be entered along with the replacement string for that word. Most forums will actually choose words as replacements, so that you can talk about how reading your dog-eared copy of Moby Richard in the evening breeze beneath the kitty catwillow tree is better than watch your mouth.

So True SO True . . . We're all better digitally . . . :)

I think it has to do with the effect of the Internet on all of our mind's eye ;)

I'm actually much mellower in RL, I hate being the center of any kind of attention -- this is me all excited and vibrant, not reticent and uncomfortable!!!

I tend to either try to fade into the background, or overcompensate and make (more of) a total burro of myself. Online I can be relaxed instead of either withdrawn or manic.
