I could multi-quote but that gets messy, thanks so very much all.
Do you remember your last one? I can still think about whipping that last one out the window on the way home from my bff's hose after having some Mickey D's, a couple drags and I thought that this thing tastes like sh........crap!!!
I had tried a disposable e-cig from a gas station's convenience store, I believe it was a
21st Century, to see if it seemed like it would be a suitable substitute for times when I could not smoke, and perhaps possibly enable me to quit eventually. It succeeded as a proof-of-concept since it was not that satisfying but did show me that it would be possible--especially if I could find one more suited to me tastes and needs. I started doing the Google thing and ended up here as a "research base." After a couple of days' reading it seemed to me that my best bet, as a compromise between effectiveness and price, were Rivas (better mah than eGos)--Liberty Flights had the best price on Riva kits so I ordered a kit and a 30ml bottle of 24mg Spearmint.
They arrived Saturday morning of Memorial Day weekend. We were driving down to Cave City Sunday morning to give the podling a weekend at Dinosaur World, so I charged them up that night and tried them out to make sure they worked and see if I thought they would be a viable substitute. They blew the 21st Century's out of the water. The plan was to use no
tobacco the entire time we were at Dinosaur World, so Sunday morning I rolled two cigarettes, my "first of the day," and one for the drive down there. They way I rolled them they generally lasted about 20 minutes--so at 9:30 am, about a third of the way into the trip, I lit my "for the road."
We got to the hotel, dropped off the luggage and got ready for the park. I double-checked to make sure both batts were charged, dropped them and the
juice in a pocket and we headed off to DW. I was happy and satisfied all day, we had a good time, and when it got dark we headed back for the hotel. We had dinner on the way, and when we got into the room I pulled out my tobacco, papers and rollers. I looked at them, realized I hadn't actually wanted a cigarette all day and decided to how well I would do if I didn't smoke until we got back home. And I haven't had a cigarette since...
