No, I have been to that 'city' -- if you've grown up around a real one you'd know that the sprawling, unzoned, discordant Houston is not what I would call a proper burg.......:D

...

There is more pollution than air, more concrete than grass, people turn into flaming a......s as soon as they get in a car and "rush hour" lasts longer than 15 minutes.

It's a city to me ;)

so the biggest city around me is albuquerque and to me thats huge... im a taos mouse and i love it

good morning guys! :D

Yes, my friends in college that came to visit me were astonished by Chicago, when you think Denver was considered a big city by them and then they would walk the Magnificent Mile, see Sears Tower, the lakefront........its a whole different level of urbanity.:thumb:

pfffffffffffffffft Baltimore is the only 'city'

Actually, As John Waters might say - Baltimore is more like a "PIMPLE" erupting than a "city" (if you want to call it that) . . .

Yes, we have similar views around here, I truly enjoy my rural living here -- but I'm a mere 90 miles from one of the greatest cities in the world, its nice to have the option....:thumb:

Its actually quite beautiful during the day, the architecture is a wonder to behold, the sounds, heck, the people are even fascinating to watch......my grandmother had a condo on the lakefront and we would spend a couple weeks there every summer, exploring the lakefront and downtown, walking to the museums -- sometimes I am amazed by all that has changed in the ensuing 35 years......:)
