I will admit its pretty awesome to get Chinese food delivered (no seriously in Philly you can get food brought right to your door) and there's a lot to do and great shopping. But you can't beat small town living - everyone literally knows me here and knew i was away every weekend last year visiting Jazz yet I didn't have to worry about being robbed. Neighbors and even the police kept an eye on things. I forgot to lock my store one weekend and when I got back nothing was touched.
Plus theres nothing like a long drive through the mountains especially in autumn. Keep your man made architecture I much prefer gods :)

Alright - Now of course this is my opinion, however given that I have lived on a Farm (Milking Cows/Cleaning Out in the hen House/Slopping the pigs - Yep I did ); Out in the Boondocks (No One around for miles and Your closet "town" with a "Store" that is actually a "Gas Station" 50 miles one way and a Hospital is over 100 miles); "Special" Little Bedroom Communities; Suburbia (OH Gees - Give Me a Break, either move to the country or into the city), The City (NYC and yes even the "Little" City of Philadelphia and State Capital of Harrisburg) and am now mandated to live in Fort Lauderdale (another quasi "city") . . . SO while I will give how wonderful small town life can be, but it is also a PIA . . . especially if you want to do anything besides sitting there looking at life pass you by . . . AGAIN - Just "My" Opinion, I will say there is nothing like living in a Real CITY like - NYC (BTW: Will always be a "New Yorker" no matter where I live). . .

Why would I want to go anywhere when everything I ever wanted is right here with me?
We'd rather stay in thanks ;)

Oh, I'm not saying to live but to visit -- it sure is nice to have world-class museums and institutions easily available when you want them.........:)
