As for the GV contest, we all know it is a disaster as a contest thread. But it is a successful social thread, and that is what the vendor wants. Some like that social group, some don't, same as all of the conversation threads on ecf.

I don't agree with ...I think GV's contest is one of the MOST organized one's out there & I find it easy enough to keep up with ...just start @last post & go back to last announcement or just check the board (all info is usually there) .
Now keeping up w/the social jibber jabber is another story
I just don't have time to look for a reset with 15 pages posted of a conversation that I feel like an outsider to. Almost too successfull.

After about six days, I just quit the roulette game. I just got bored with it.
Actually, I have found myself not playing many of the games. I am starting to get a ripple attitude, if I don't really want the prize, why bother.
As for the GV contest thread, when threads move too fast I start skipping posts. Once I start skipping posts, I just quit trying to keep up. So I just play the contest there and sometimes read a few. There are alot of really good people who hang out there, but I can't keep up with it, so I mostly don't try.

However, there has always got to be a "Winner" when it comes to any CONTEST and I would rather see a "Friend" or "Someone in need" be the "Winner" if I am going to be the "loser" of any Contest - then someone who thinks that they deserve to "WIN" and that I really "dislike" . . . Which - THANKFULLY is NOT "YOU"
