Now - back to the other current rant/conversation at hand . . .
I kind agree with Ya' - "Rip", "Lox", and "Prism" (who should never keep her mouth shut
) - and I do understand what your sayin' . . . Some contest have really gotten out of hand and go on and on and on and on . . . Personally, although I am one of the guilty ones who does have additional conversations - just "Chit Chat" - besides enter the contest in some of these threads, I would also rather see and have a separate "Chit Chat" thread to go to to talk with people too (like we do here to commiserate about "Stuff" and even in other threads I go to) - beside being able to go to their Contest threads . . . However, I know a lot of these vendors (like "GotVapes", "Vapors Choice", "Apollo", etc.) are also trying to help those with limited funds who could not normally afford their products too . . .
SO - how do you blame some vendors for doing exactly what others are doing to have their "Name" get out there too . . . Some of these vendors can only have 2 threads open in the suppliers sub-forum . . . Matter of fact, I noticed that so many other vendors have a Contest then - BOMB - A "Winner" is picked, some people congratulate the winner, and then everyone just leaves . . . The thread is "dead" and - NOTHING . . . Right now - I know of 2 vendors threads ("Tenderfoot" & "louielouie") that recently had a contest and gave away some really nice stuff that have just died and from what I see virtually no one has been back to them or even from what I've seen very few people have ordered from their company . . . They even keep trying to "bump" their thread with information about their products and sales to get some interest or any attention at all . . . So, I can't really blame them, especially since they do not have a sub-forum here on ECF either . . .
But you know what really gets "My" gall and IMO is the worst thing though about all this right now - is one of the people who is the worst culprit themselves for "posting" nonsense just for the shake of posting and who increased their own post count for the exact same reason some others have . . . Matter of fact, I personally know that they had a very low count till they inserted themselves into helping in a contest - is now chiming in on this conversation and "accusing other's" as tho they are so "innocent" and yet they have done the exact same thing . . .
IMO - I think that is just as reprehensible . . . and so "unmensch" ! ! !
Now of course - this is just "My" opinion and
