I'm an agnostic and a fallen Catholic (women are equal to men, end of story, don't be as medieval as Islam, sheesh!!!) -- there is no logical explanantion for both our creation and some undefined supreme force, I cover my bases just in case....

I agree Ripple women are indeed equal to men. No one should be brutalized or killed for anything much less religion.
I'm a very religious person but I'm not preachy or aggressive. I totally understand why some people just don't get it and I don't try to convince them. What I don't get is how people can believe in karma and not in a higher power. The universe balances itself out - but who holds the scales of justice?

the thing that always trips me up is Who Created God? Either the universe or He came out of nothingness, my son said its illogical to have a supreme entity of some sort, just save the step and say that the universe was created from nothingness instead of God..........flawless in its simplicity but our existence just does not make a lick of a sense to me, I like to say I'm only 99% sure that I live and breathe!!!

You know, that didn't prove it to yourself, though -- you just showed that your synapses fired and that's what you perceived you have done, your nerves and brain made you think you did something but that could have been a hallucination, hell you could have been in a dream state, that always feels like reality when experienced..........dude, we could be all Matrix-sized right now and how would we know.....
