Is it now common practice now for mod companies to have horrible customer Service?
seems like it is becoming the Norm. I see a lot of people complaining about different companies not answering customers. I know while looking for a new mod I have contacted a few companies Via Email & facebook at least a week or more ago with no reply from any yet. These are not companies I would buy products from!

A person may have an idea, know how to make the product, know how to get the word out..............but very few people know how to run a business. In any business, customer satisfaction if first. If not, you may as well go home because it's just a matter of time before people figure you out.

I don't have enough appendages on my body to count the number of people that have come on the scene, even here on ECF, only to find themselves cast out shortly because delivery/production problems or quality did not live up to the hype. Some even come on the scene, take your money, and then try to simply disappear! Bad quality product? No product? Run away! Make lame excuses! Blame someone else!

Probably why large chinese companies like Fasttech or Focalecig have such a following. At least they answer their correspondence as best they can. Quality? It's often subpar, but you know that, and it's priced like that.

Yes I know it is everywhere but just seems like it is the same problem with every Mod manufacturer
I think if one company would stand behind their product they could corner the market
Back in the day- hate them or not- when provari was king, the other mods were better made as they had to be if they wanted a shot.

Once the high power box mods became popular and many left provari behind they had no more competition to be judged against and quality became just like any other mass produced, cheaply stamped out junk.

You have to blaim the consumers not the companies, they are the ones willing to keep buying mods no matter what the actual quality is.

Until a company can step in and become dominant again there is no standard to live up to or try to beat anymore.

I don't own a Provari and won't get one. But I did notice that the 13th they are releasing a new box mod along with its specs. The wait begins.

At least Provape has a reputation and they seem to have lived up to it thus far. With an actual factory and several employees, they have to and can be expected to continue to provide for their customers.

Hey Gf!
Like most every consumer product today, it's a race to the bottom of the price scale. Trade-offs are made to get there. The first to go is quality and the second is CS. IOW, you'll get precisely what you pay for. There's simply no way around it.
I'm a low-wattage tootler and I buy from Provape & REOSmods. They're not inexpensive, but buy once cry once! The same applies to my guns and other tools. ;-]

I am buying cheapest mods available and never had any questions to manufacturers... Am I lucky?

I don't mind paying more if they stand behind it
May be that is the problem? Mods are still really cheap things, even expensive ones.

Facebook only sellers aren't companies.
They don't have business addresses or a Biz lisc, and no business phone number.

These aren't businesses. They are just people marketing themselves and product.

Why would you expect them to act professionally when they don't even bother actually open a legit business?

And yes the vape industry as a whole, is extremely unprofessional.
Honest, legit businesses are the exception, not the rule.

think they should still last more than a week without problems & at least respond when you have a question or an issue

Not talking sellers I am talking Manufacturers
US manufacturers in the vaping industry stand strongly behind their products. That has been my experience.
And they've done that in spite of government attempts to interfere.

We clearly have different opinions on the idea of 'legitimacy'.

As a retired former business owner, yes we probably do.

Legitimate businesses have business lisc, pay taxes, business contact information, and follow rules regulations and laws concerning operation.

Facebook only "businesses" with no contact outside a social media site are far from legitimate.

My guess is most of the companies are small small businesses. They simply cannot afford or want to pay for cs reps.

I never had a CS rep and had outstanding customer service with my business.
You can have professionalism at any size.
I never once compromised my integrity in 22 years.

Depends on if you want to have to communicate with your customers or not. Where you in manufacturing or consulting? Manufacturing typically does not have the workers communicating with the customers while in consulting/service the cs is just that.

We do not have cs reps but I am in constant contact with my clients. I am not in manufacturing either.
