Had my company xmas party the other night. We had open bar, tons of food and the had a casino setup with fake money but lots of games.

Was a ton of fun as I sat there with my wife at the "hold-em" table vapin away. The Dealer at my table looked for a sec, but I think he knew what it was cause he didnt give me a second look. THe dealer at the table behind us was staring hardcore..I thought his eyes were gonna pop out when I blew out my first huge cloud.

See, thing is I know what people think when they first see it in a public place like that:

"Either that guy is so wasted he doesnt realize what hes doing or hes just an ....... cause EVERYONE knows you cant smoke in here."

Well I wasnt wasted..not even close. So I just sat back and enjoyed it.
Not one person asked me to put it out or told me that "you cant smoke in here" It was great, at the bar vapin away. I saw the looks of sheer envy from those who were bundling up to go outside.

I love my 510.

At husband's company Christmas party, my two vaping friends and I would go a lounge down the hall from the main ballroom to vape, for the first half of the night. At one point, one of the staff was walking by, saw vapor, and stopped for half a second. One friend said, "Don't worry, they're fake. We're not smoking inside." The staff girl just looked confused, said, "uh, okay" and walked away.

As the party devolved, we vaped openly, blowing huge plumes of vapor, in the main ballroom. Got quite a bit of attention, but a lot of people already knew I vaped, and the ones who didn't were all fascinated. All the social smokers wanted to try it!

That's great that no one said anything. I haven't tried vaping indoors yet, all I have are minis with red LEDs, so from more than a couple feet away it looks exactly like smoking a cigarette. I'm thinking some rabid anti-smoker would probably punch me in the eye if I tried. I've got a screwdriver coming in the mail though. When I start using that I'll just look like some weirdo sucking on a doorknob.

Use the old "put it out on your hand" trick. They'll freak, then laugh when they realize it isn't a "real cigarette".
If we keep informing people of the awesome product that is the PV, then there is a good chance eventually everyone will know! :)

Haha, that's a brilliant idea :pI can already see the looks on their faces...

I have tried spreading the good word a bit, but I guess I go a little overboard singing its praises whenever I mention it. I've had an acquaintance accuse me of being a "viral marketer". I think I'm okay with that though :)

Vaping at work is pretty amazing. My boss recently quit smoking, so when I was looking at ecigs online, he was checking them out with me. I brought them in and showed them off, and even now he'll walk by my desk randomly and ask me to puff on demand :)

I barely started smoking a few months before, stealing a couple from my husband at home when work stress started to get to me. So being able to take a drag in the middle of one of those conference calls with especially difficult sysadmins makes for instant zen-moments to keep me from screaming back at them.

What else is great is that I'm going through my carts twice as fast as expected - I'm biting my nails, waiting eagerly for my next delivery... my husband keeps picking up my spare batt & atomizer and seems to be weighing over the switch himself!
