Most important to me is testing. YES, I pay more for xtremevapings nic but each batch is tested and I can get a copy.I have no experience with RTS, if they do testing, I am in at that price. One vendor posted in their sbforum.....paraphrasing here as I can not/will not search for it " I have found a nicotine one grade below pharm grade to pass the savings on to my customers" NO THANKS! There have been reports of 100mg/ml being upwards of 200 and some being lower than 36mg/ml. I want my nic clear. clean and tested. THEN, and ONLY then, will I price shop. Safety first. my 2 cents but great OP. IF there is a reasonable and safe nic at a cheaper price,I am all for it. It is funny how most successful vendors are using Levvys nic??????

Hmm so you think you are safe if the batch is tested. Who does the testing? What do they test for.? Do they test for hexane, Benzene, Pesticides, heavy metals. It was good at the time it was tested. How was it stored.? Show me a product that's been tested for all of the above and I'll feel very good about it.

I have heard nothing against RTS Vapes-- that is another company you are talking about. Xtreme vaping may very well be a very good product but its rather expensive. Most successful vendors use Levy's nic? Not sure what that means but they must be the vendors who have to charge an arm and a leg for their juice and the very reason so many of us DIY.

I sent a "contact us" to RTS inquiring about testing of his nic for purity and strength early this AM. This is cut and pasted verbatim:

Would you mind sharing the testing method/facility and the results with me prior
to purchasing your nic? I am all for American made and the price is much better
than what I have used for 3 years but I need a security blanket.
Thanks for your understanding,I mean no ill will
Bonnie

their response within minutes:

No we will not share our extraction source.

Thank you for your interest in RTS VAPES

My response:

I am not asking for your source. I merely want the testing of the purity and such.
I am no spy, need no bulk nic, want nothing other than to know the nic is tested for purity. Levvy supplies his testing records. I am scared of nicotine and want reassurance, that is all. No need to be defensive, I want to support you.
Thank you
Bonnie

I await a response.................

Bonnie there is an RTS Vapes thread on this forum (actually several) but there is at least one vendor started thread by them. I don't know if the info you are seeking is on one of those threads or if you'll get a response there. Vendors are touchy because of all that went down with the other company a few months back. I hope you get the answers that you want and I do understand the concerns. Some were contemplating randomized testing on certain batches by a 3rd party for nicotine strength. I don't know what came of that.

What incident?

A few months ago a nicotine vendor sent out nicotine that ended up not testing accurately. One batch tested at 227mg which could have been deadly. There was quite a stir and if I could remember the name of the company I would post the link to a thread started by the chemist that was testing batches of nicotine, Kurt.

My understanding is that none of the nic we purchase is actually extracted/made here in America. Until someone can show me otherwise, I will not buy my nic from companies that "claim" it's made in America.

I 2nd that. I too have seen threads and info stating that ALL nicotine is extraced out of the country (most being in china), and if a company states its was EXTRACTED in the USA, then they are lying. But I am unable to verify this, or know if its true for sure. It might be USA grown tobacco, but not extracted in the USA.

Seen RTS calims thier tobacco is extracted in South Carolina.. Do not know if thats true or not.. (maybe grown in SC but not extracted?? I dunno)

One thing I like about MFS, is Chris says "I use USA grown tobacco, but the actuall nicotine is extracted in china." Hes upfront about it.
