Maybe I should already know the answer to this but unfortunately I don't. I'm a bit new to different vaping apparatus.
I recently purchased a standard EVOD kit--2 650mah, 1 charger, 5 atomizers. I wanted to get 2 1000 mah batteries which I did. The new batteries were ego (same threading). I'm trying to find out if the 2 1000 batteries I bought can be charged with the charger that came with the EVOD kit. Please understand that the new batteries, when screwed onto the protank I got don't look the same as what the EVOD looks like. PS, I also have an older Ego charger from a kit that I bought last year
Another thing concerning the EVOD protank I got in the kit-----is the Protank 2 the same type of item that can be used with the EVOD batteries. The reason I'm asking this is because every time I try to look up info on the EVOD protank, I can't find any specific info or description about it. All I see is ads for Protank 2--Protank 3---Protank Mpt ( I think that's the name--maybe wrong lettering). By the way, 1 of those 1000mah I bought 2 mts ago kicked the bucket 2 days ago.
Any help will be appreciated
Dave

As far as the chargers go: They are the same. If you read the info on the ratings plate on the charger dongle it should read:

Input DC 5 volts, 500 mA
Output DC 4.2 volts, 420 mA

Did you buy this stuff on line? It could just be a reseller with a messed up product description. A ProTank and an EVOD are both made by Kanger, but they are two very different looking clearo setups. They both can be used on eGo type batteries. The ProTank - assuming it isn't a Mini - screws onto the 510 threads of the battery, while the EVOD screws onto the eGo threads.

Thanks very much.
I checked both chargers and they're identical---the same exact figures you posted. As far as the EVOD kit, my sister in law got it from a reliable dealer who she trusts. She also owns the same identical kit except for the battery color. NOW, as far as those 2 ego 1000 mah batteries, yes I did get them from ebay and I feel like I got screwed and I now know it's my fault. Can't get any refund or credit or exchange. I gotta watch out in the future but I will get identical batteries like the ones that came in the EVOD kit. Again, thanks very much.
