Complete battery confusion!

For something like a vamo, an 18650 would be just fine. Protected batteries not really necessary unless you're planning on subohming a RBA build, which you can't even do on a regulated device like the Vamo, so, moot point.

Also, I prefer button top batteries, but flats are just as good, I don't quite recall if it makes a difference or not. Pretty sure it doesn't.

Some manufacturer make the flat-top batteries have a slightly higher MAH rating (they use the height that the button would normally take-up and put more battery in there).
