Hello to all, I am brand new to E-Cigs, been doing some research over this last week.
I am looking at going for the Green Smoke, seems reputable, I am uncertain as to how much nicotine I want in my cartridges though. Currently I smoke roll-ups, roached not filtered ;) So I am thinking of going 16mg and going from there.

Any thoughts?

Ya know, GreenSmoke, as far as I've seen has gotten mixed reviews. There is a video done - I'll see if I can find it and post the link (done by a clearly... knowledgeable... vaper) - that places greensmoke as a fav. because of vapor production. You will find a lot of different opinions, I think. The main beef [I have read and not experienced, as I don't have a GS and its somewhat silly of me to even post about them lol] is that the flavor isn't that good. Nonetheless, people mostly say the vapor production is fantastic.

aha! Here it is: YouTube - Leaford's Video blog 8-4: My New Five Favorites

Taken from DDBV's sticky "Illustrated Guide..."... Leaford's 5 Favorites. This actually ended up selling me on the 2 piece KR8 because I saw it had plenty of flavor and lots of good reviews. Any way you go, good luck! It is so stinkless much fun!

i bought the green smoke for my first one and what a waste it was.i smoked 30 cigs a day.and the green smoke could not keep up.get a dual voltage device with some 501 attys some juice to direct drip and your set.i would also get the 24-36mg juice.

i wish some one told me that in the first place.lol.

I'd get a variety. If you smoke unfiltered, prob go for 16 and up. I started with 26 (as a 3+ pack a day regular 100's smoker, I figured I needed high) and went down - sort of. I find I still need the big nic in the morning (I could probably even like the 30+) - but I'm a lot better with the lower at night. Anyway - get a bit of a variety and see what suits you.

It's kind of trial and error - everyone's taste/needs differs.

fs, where was your 1 post that double posted?

On the mg end, I smoked about a pack of ultra lights per day and the 18mg was too high for me. But some people say that mgs sold from different vendors actually have different strengths. Makes no sense to me - and I haven't tried any other vendors - but that's what peops say.

Unfort the Green smokes arent compatable in the slightest w any other product. They have an annoying (IMO) 3 sec cutoff so i have a huge amnt of unused cartos bc the cutoff drives me insane. If you want cartomizers u **may** wanna consider GreenCig or kr808d, both are compatable w each other and 901 attys...not trying to scare you away but having comp equipment cabn save u alot of cash down the road if u decide you want to try other tthings w/out the exspense of an entire kit...not to mention the greensmoke cartos/batts are THE most exp of all ;) If you were to try a KR808D1 kit first, u can use those cartos, greencig cartos and reg dse901 stuff all on the same batt!!

Well, have done some more research. Have to say I'm not keen on the 3 piece design, seems like too much can go wrong, as well as a lot of messy work with refills etc. What drew me to GS was how simple it was with the 2 piece thing. KR808D-1 seems similar, can't understand why they aren't interchangeable though, aren't they the same thread pattern on the battery?

I have tried greencart cartomizers and they have no taste or very little throat hit. Imo, You will be better off buying a kr8-1 which is also a 2 piece. Yes they look almost identical but the biggest difference is that the regular kr8-1 has a longer cut off around 7 seconds where the greencart cuts off in like 3 seconds as Crashtestjeep pointed out. Also you will be limited to pretty much just purchasing from greencart but kr8-1 parts are sold by most vendors.

We were messing around with my buddies dse 905 and saw that a greensmoke cart almost screws on,if u cut the sticky tape off of it it may have gone on the whole way, wasn't going to chance it though since it looked like the 905 end would snap right off.I took one of the GS cartomizers apart and it looked nasty in there.Lots of burnt material.Just kind of turned me off from the whole thing.

Hiya! I'm new to this too, but I can tell you if you smoked a lot, you will likely continue to do so with your ecig - at least this is my experience.

I went for Green Smoke prior to finding this forum and I regret it. Like you, I thought that the 2 piece design would be a lot easier and less mess. My main issue is that the batteries are total crap - flavors were OK, not great, OK. If you were a heavy smoker like myself then you do not want one of these. It will leave you desperate and irritated.

I used GS and straight smokes for a month together due to the battery issue. Then I wised up and went for the standard 3 piece 510. The three piece design is not bad to deal with and the 510 certainly produces more "smoke" than my GS ever could hope to do. Once you get going with it, it all becomes second nature.

The batteries are still crap on the 510 but you could purchase a 5 pack for 1/5 the cost of the GS starter kit and rotate them - that's what I have been doing for the last 3 weeks. OR...and again, I was and am a HEAVY smoker...you could cut straight to one of the larger battery mods, such as the Chuck or Silver Bullet, which will give you happy smoking no dead battery vaping all day long...AND ITS STILL CHEAPER THAN A GS STARTER KIT. (Ordered my Silver Bullet last week and can't wait for it to get here!!!)

One more advantage to using the 3 piece and then I will get off my soap box... With the 3 piece you can try the many different flavors out there and always have a FULL cart with a short 10 second top off. Its a few more items to carry, but then again, with GS, I had to lug extra batteries and charges around with me!

Vape 'em if ya got 'em!

Can't say for sure. I found the 510 and am sticky with it until my Juice Box from Carlos is ready (if you do not know what that is you should look it up - truly amazing for the heavy smoker but hand made and its a 2 month delivery).

I would suggest that you check out the supplier list at the bottom of the front page - upon entering each forum there is a link to the supplier's site.

Sorry I can't be more helpful!
