I am brand new to the forum and brand new to e-cigs. I ordered the smoktech 900mAh eGo RBC kit, 1 30ml dropper bottle, 2 5ml dropper bottles, and 1 10ml bottle of banana flavor. I am not coming from cigarettes and I like to just sit outside at night and watch the smoke. I plan to start out doing DiY e-juic and I already have the distilled water vg and syringes (1ml and 3ml). I was wondering if anyone had a simple recipe for 100% flavorless vg e-juice (I want to save the flavoring for when I get the other part of my e-juice down first. I did look it up, but not many people make 100% vg e-juice. I wont be adding nicotine into any of my juices so any input would be greatly appreciated.

The reason I want to do 100% vg is that it is much easier for me to just get vg instead of vg and pg. I know that this is a lot of info, but I just want to get things right the first time. I have vaped with a friend of mine once before which is why I want to get into making juice. I can make some for me and him.

Hello and welcome. You don't need a recipe for flavorless 100% VG liquid, just buy it and vape. You buy the 100% VG from any of the vendors that offer DIY supplies, a few others may have it as well.

vg is usually too think by itself; you have to add about 10% water.

a little bit too much water causes vapor production to drop off very very fast.

pg you might get from pharmacy if you ask or else a farm supply store like tractor supply

Yup... you can get VG from supplies, or even Rite Aid, Wal-Mart, CVS, Hobby Lobby. Just make sure it's the right stuff and vape away.

Flavorings can go anywhere from 5% to 20%. Vg usually needs a bit more but you have to experiment to see what works best for you.

what I meant by 100% vg was that it is essentially just vg and water. I am thinking 90% vg and 10% distilled water. I bought the vg from cvs

I have the vg and distilled water, but I have not received my bottles and stuff from madvapes yet. I just cant wait for it to get here. I am guessing it will be here on monday.

Another question. The kit I bought comes with 2 clearomizers, and I was wondering if there is something that lasts longer than a clearomizer. I was thinking about maybe picking up a RBA, but I am not sure.

The something that lasts longer than a clearo is an RBA. You will need wire and wicking and have to build the coil. It isn't hard but it takes a bit of study and practice. Research Kayfun.

Yes an RBA will cost less in the long run; you wrap your own coils.

Finding one with a glass tank is the hard part.

I find for a vg base 20% flavorings+ water is the trick. So in your case just 20% distilled water.

If you aren't adding in nic you may as well start experimenting with flavors.

If I was going to go that route I would try 80%vg 10% distilled and 10%flavoring to start and see how it went. Too weak add a bit more. Always keep track of any extra you add so you can remake it in the future.... Notes on your creations.

Yea, I have a small notebook that I am going to be writing down recipes in. I am planning to start by making flavorless e-liquid so that I can get the hang of mixing the ingredients together, and then I am going to start making flavored liquids.
